Those four players drop to the bench, where they are joined by Jack Grealish, an unused substitute in three of City’s past four games.

Everton name the same the team that managed a last-gasp equaliser in their 2-2 draw with Tottenham last weekend.

Former City midfielder Jack Harrison, who scored against Spurs and also put the Toffees ahead when they gave City a scare at Goodison Park in December, keeps his place in attack behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is looking to end his run of 17 games without a goal.

Midfielder Amadou Onana is on the bench after missing two matches with a knee injury

Everton XI: Pickford, Godfrey, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Young, Gueye, Garner, McNeil, Harrison, Calvert-Lewin.

Subs: Joao Virginia, Patterson, Keane, Onana, Beto, Coleman, Chermiti, Hunt, Dobbin.
