Luton Town have signed German midfielder Tom Krauss on a season-long loan deal from Bundesliga side Mainz 05.

Krauss, who has played 14 times for Germany Under-21s, made 29 league appearances for Mainz last season.

“I like English football and English fans, and that’s why I’m here and I can’t wait,” Krauss told the Championship club., external

“It’s a different style of football compared to Germany, but I’ve had a lot of experience in the first and second leagues, playing 130 games or so in four years.”
