Portsmouth have signed free agent Keshi Anderson after the winger was released by Birmingham City.

The 30-year-old made 92 appearances and scored 10 goals for Blues, and played 48 games in all competitions in the club’s record-breaking League One title-winning campaign last season.

Anderson made appearances for Birmingham this term but has not played since New Year’s Day and left the club by mutual consent last week. He has signed an 18-month deal with Pompey.

“We’re delighted to bring Keshi to Fratton Park and acted quickly to sign him once he became available,” Portsmouth boss John Mousinho told the club’s website., external

“He’s a talented winger with experience of competing in the Championship, which is exactly what we were searching for.

“We’ve added an exciting player who has the ability to get the crowd up off their seats and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do at Pompey.”
