Portsmouth captain Marlon Pack signs new one-year contract extension

Clearly, Marlon Pack has many attributes that might make him a good coach one day. However, that journey can wait for at least another year given his performances this season.

Pack played in 34 of Pompey’s 46 league games this season, including starting all five of the crucial run from Good Friday which secured survival.

He’s still in great shape and has always had excellent technical ability.

Another central midfielder is likely to be recruited this summer. But that doesn’t mean Pack won’t make another sizeable contribution next season. He’s the consummate professional and homegrown player every team desires.
