Nathaniel Chalobah: Addicks sign experienced midfielder

Charlton Athletic have signed experienced midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah on a free transfer.

The 31-year-old has been training with the Addicks this summer after his release as one of eight players from Sheffield Wednesday following their relegation to League One.

He made 31 appearances for the Owls across the past two seasons as part of a 14-year-career that has included over 270 appearances for Watford, Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Torino in Serie A.

Chalobah, who becomes the Addicks’ sixth summer signing, also earned international recognition with England at both youth and senior level.
