Mikel Arteta has agreed an improved new contract with Premier League champions Arsenal.
The Spaniard’s current deal expires at the end of this season but talks over a new contract have been ongoing for a number of months.

The left-back, whose current deal expires in 2026, has been in talks with the Gunners over recent months.
The 18-year-old has now agreed the outline of an extended agreement, which will see him commit his future to the Gunners once signed.
It is reward for a breakthrough campaign last season, which saw Lewis-Skelly make 39 appearances in all
