Coventry City 0-1 Fulham: Oscar Bobb scores late winner in Premier League

By Total Football News

Oscar Bobb’s late goal made it back-to-back Premier League wins for Fulham as they claimed victory at Coventry City.

In a game which otherwise lacked quality, Bobb weaved past a defender in a crowded penalty area before whipping an excellent strike into the bottom corner to score the game’s only goal.

In the first half, it was Fulham’s Josh King who came closest to delivering an opener when he sent

Aston Villa 2-1 Man City: Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marc Guehi under spotlight

By Total Football News

Centre-back Guehi’s £20m arrival from Crystal Palace in January was considered a bargain.

But it was his loose pass at Everton late last season which cost City dearly in the title race, drawing that game and losing the impetus to eventual champions Arsenal.

This season has been a struggle for the England defender, culpable for both goals scored by Ipswich last weekend and being picked off by John McGinn

Man City 3 – 2 Ipswich

By Total Football News

Premier League leaders Manchester City earned a seventh straight win by beating Ipswich Town 3-2 as their on-pitch resistance showed no signs of slowing.

Banana-crazed fans, a tradition that started in the 1980s, made for a playful atmosphere, and City’s players responded with another demonstration of dogged defiance to move six points clear at the top. Their focus on winning football matches despite the huge scrutiny the club is under

Man City charges: Do Premier League club have grounds for their appeal?

By Total Football News

A key part of City’s defence will be that the Independent Commission relied too heavily on the emails obtained through the Football Leaks files.

“If City can demonstrate the Commission fundamentally misunderstood the emails, failed to consider their proper context or reached conclusions inconsistent with other contemporaneous documents, that could amount to a material factual error,” Severn added.

“City’s difficulty is that the Commission heard extensive witness and documentary evidence
