However, they still have quality players and have managed at least 11 clean sheets per season

Yes, I’m playing with fire a bit going triple Manchester United for the second time in three weeks but it paid off against Leicester.
If Rashford is going to play out of position as a striker in this new United set-up, then it makes him a viable FPL option.
This game could be a Sean Dyche defensive classic but an early
Mohamed Salah (captain), Liverpool, £12.9m – away at Southampton
The way Salah is producing at the moment, giving him the captain’s armband is a no-brainer.
He has seven double-digit returns in 11 games so far, which is astonishing. A pessimist would say that he can’t carry on at that rate of production – if he does he’s on for a record 369-point season – but an away game at Southampton
Mohamed Salah (captain), Liverpool, midfielder, £12.8m – home to Aston Villa
Why change a winning formula? Salah has scored in his past three, he netted in this fixture last season, Villa just shipped four at Spurs and have one day’s less rest than Liverpool after a trip to Belgium in the Champions League.
Simple captain choice this week.
Alejandro Garnacho, Manchester United, midfielder, £6.3m – home to Leicester City
Robert Sanchez, Chelsea, keeper, £4.7m – home to Newcastle
Newcastle’s goals have really dried up, with just one in their past three games and star striker Alexander Isak is out of form.
Sanchez, meanwhile, has two double-digit hauls this season and can be relied on for a save point or two – he is averaging 4.5 saves per game.
Josko Gvardiol, Manchester City, defender, £6.1m – home to Southampton
City
Matz Sels, Nottingham Forest, keeper, £4.5m – home to Crystal Palace
Palace have scored once in their past three games and only Fulham have conceded fewer big chances than Forest.
Sels is the best £4.5m keeper this week – he pulled out of the Belgium squad with an adductor injury but should be OK, and I’ve got his deputy on the bench if not.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool, defender, £7.1m –
Bukayo Saka (captain), Arsenal, midfielder, £10m – home to Leicester City
This man is about as reliable as they come in FPL. A return every game so far but still feels like he has yet to hit top form.
Why captain Saka over Haaland? This is a tricky call and it’s fine to play things safer with Manchester City’s star man.
