Sheffield United fans raise thousands for George Baldock banner

The banner was the idea of fan Nigel Brooke and was set up by Klaire Heap, of supporters’ group We Are True Blades.

The group said donations above the £4,000 target would be donated to charity.

Former Sheffield United defender George Baldock has died at the age of 31.

West Ham teenager George Earthy has left hospital following further assessment on the head injury he suffered against Fulham on Sunday.
