West Ham have signed Spain international Carlos Soler on a season-long loan from Paris St-Germain.
The midfielder is the club’s ninth signing of the transfer window.
The 27-year-old has made 14 appearances for Spain and began his career with Valencia before joining Paris St-Germain in 2022.
“I am really excited to be here as a West Ham player,” said Soler.

Ogbonna, who made an appearance from the bench in West Ham’s Europa Conference League final victory in 2023, is Watford’s eighth summer signing.
He made over 200 appearances for the Hammers in the Premier League, with ex-Watford boss Gianluca Zola the only Italian to have exceeded that figure.

Portsmouth have signed West Ham United midfielder Freddie Potts on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Wycombe Wanderers, where he was named the club’s player of the season.
Potts made 43 appearances for the Chairboys, scoring twice as the club finished 10th in League One.
He came through the academy at West Ham and has made three senior appearances for the club.

West Ham defender Kurt Zouma is set to undergo a medical as he closes in on a move to Saudi Pro-League club Al-Orouba.
Zouma had agreed a move to the United Arab Emirates earlier this summer but that deal collapsed after Zouma failed a medical.
The Hammers gave permission for the 29-year-old to remain in the region in an attempt to secure another deal.

West Ham have signed Dutch forward Crysencio Summerville from Leeds for a fee in excess of £25m plus add-ons.
The 22-year-old has agreed a five-year deal at London Stadium with the option of a further year.

West Ham have signed Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme for £25.5m from Palmeiras on a five-year contract.
The 18-year-old is manager Julen Lopetegui’s first signing since taking charge last month.
