He has also previously worked as assistant to his younger brother Will at French club Lens.
“Ed’s appointment was made on the conviction that this is a coach whose modern and progressive coaching methods fit perfectly with our squad dynamic, who we believe will take the team forward, and who gives us a real
Javi Gracia walking away from Watford means the Hornets squad has just got bigger. Not only with the late January signings but also with the players the Spaniard didn’t pick in both his team and his squad.
Gracia will have his reasons for not wanting to pick them – contributions in games, training ground performances and attitude will, no doubt, have been a big part of that.

Watford supporters are used to the managerial merry-go-round that has become synonymous with the club.
But it is rare that a departure is on the manager’s terms.
Resignations have not been commonplace at Vicarage Road since the Pozzo family took over the club in 2012.

During his time in charge, Watford achieved a

First-team lead coach Javier Pereira has left the club with an immediate effect just two months after joining boss Tom Cleverley’s staff.
He has been replaced by former Hornets defender Paul Robinson, who has been appointed as assistant coach after spells alongside Gary Rowett at Millwall and Birmingham City.
Robinson won two
