Norwich City striker Josh Sargent has completed a move to Toronto FC in a deal worth more than £20m.

Sargent is flying out to Canada on Friday before undertaking a medical at the Canadian side, reports BBC Radio Norfolk.
The initial payment is believed to be around £15.5m, rising to more than £20m with add-ons, and he is expected to sign a five-year contract.
Toronto’s
Wingers Ali Ahmed and Papa Amadou Diallo will both be available for the trip to north Wales.
Canada international Ahmed joined Norwich from Vancouver Whitecaps on 5 January, while Diallo has been out since September because of injury.

Sargent joined Norwich in August 2021 from German side Werder Bremen and has scored 56 goals for the Canaries in 157 games.

The 21-year-old has overtaken Sargent as Norwich’s top scorer with 12 goals against the American’s eight.
