Statue celebrating Coventry City legends unveiled

The monument to mark their achievements was created by sculptor Douglas Jennings who said the pair “really were a double act” and it was an “emotional day”.

“There’s a great turnout and you can see what Coventry football club and these men mean to the fans,” he said.

Allchurch brothers mural unveiled in Swansea

A mural of Ivor and Len Allchurch, two of Swansea’s most celebrated footballers, has been unveiled by the Swansea City Supporters’ Trust – near to where the famous brothers grew up.

Members of the Allchurch family, including Ivor’s widow Esme, were present to see the new painted junction box near to the Swansea.com Stadium in Plasmarl.
