Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna, Leeds United manager Daniel Farke and Hull City boss Liam Rosenior have been nominated for the Championship manager of the season at the EFL awards.

Ipswich are top of the table, while Leeds are second and Hull 10th.

Leeds’ Crysencio Summerville, Leicester’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Blackburn’s Sammie Szmodics are up for the player of the season prize.

The awards will be held on Sunday, 14 April in London.

McKenna has guided the Suffolk side to the top of the second tier as they try to secure back-to-back promotions.

Farke, who previously won the award whilst in charge of Norwich in 2021, has helped the Whites maintain an unbeaten home record this season as they look for an immediate return to the top flight.

Rosenior’s Tigers are six points off the play-offs after a run of six games without a win dented their push for a top-six spot.

Dutch winger Summerville has been key to Leeds’ strong showing, with 17 goals and eight assists, while Foxes midfielder Dewsbury-Hall has scored 13 and claimed a further 11 assists for the third-placed side.

Szmodics is the division’s top scorer with 23 goals, despite Rovers being 16th in the table.

League One leaders Portsmouth have boss John Mousinho and skipper Marlon Pack up for the division’s manager and player of the season award respectively.

Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson and defender Harrison Burrows are both also nominated, as are Stevenage manager Steve Evans and Derby winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing.

Meanwhile, Mansfield, second in League Two, have both manager Nigel Clough and forward Davis Keillor-Dunn nominated for recognition.

MK Dons boss Mike Williamson and Crewe manager Lee Bell complete the nominations for the division’s manager of the season, with Wrexham forward Elliot Lee and Notts County winger Jodi Jones joining Keillor-Dunn on the player shortlist.
