Callum Doyle: Norwich sign Man City prospect on season-long loan

“His pedigree is there for all to see and he’ll be an important player for us this season.”

Doyle has yet to play a senior game for Manchester City and this will be his fourth successive season out on loan, following spells at Sunderland and Coventry City from 2021 to 2023.

“I’m very excited and glad that it’s finally done. I feel really grateful to be here and can’t wait to get started. I think we can have a really good season,” he said.

He is Norwich’s third summer recruit, following the arrivals of Jose Cordoba and Ben Chrisene.

They will start the new season with a trip to promoted Oxford United on Saturday.
