Millwall 3-0 Sheffield Wednesday: Josh Coburn scores in Lions win
31 August 2024Millwall boss Neil Harris told BBC Radio London:
“We made individual errors in the first two games and we’ve cut them out and picked up four points accordingly.
“We’re now up and running. We looked like a proper Championship football team that has a structure and an identity.
“There was a desire to keep a clean sheet. We scored three goals and, let’s be honest, it could have been five or six.
“Josh has set his bar very high for performances but I wanted to bring him to the club because I know his attributes. He’s an outstanding player.
“He gave us the platform and the belief to build off today.”
Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl told BBC Radio Sheffield:
“Three defeats in a row. It’s terrible. It’s time to wake up.
“There was high expectation after one win but we are back in reality and that means fighting for every point – that is what I want to see in the next few weeks.
“It’s a big, big sickener for me that it goes in the wrong direction and not the right direction. I need to find a solution in the next few weeks.
“Cheap goals (conceded) and also we created nothing up front. We have to improve as soon as possible.
“We are back a little bit in the past and that is very hard to take. We have a lot of individual players but now it’s about finding the best team.
“This is my job – to find the best team that is ready. We have to start as soon as possible to make the turnaround.”
